Are you an old SciFi Channel fan? :teddyr:

Oh yeah, I started watching the Sci-Fi Channel back in the early '90s and haven't looked back since  :teddyr:  Lately I've been transferring all my old VHS tapes to DVD+RW.  Moonbase I had recorded on VHS, but decided that it was "good" enough that I wanted the complete unedited version to transfer to DVD.  Alien Cargo I recorded as well, but wasn't terribly happy with the video quality.  My recently purchased VHS copy actually has worse video quality, with this annoying strobe light effect through many of the scenes.  But it has a much nicer surround sound audio track.  Oh hell, maybe they'll eventually come out with it on DVD some day   They never seem to show it on the Sci-Fi Channel any more, otherwise I could get a nice recording straight onto DVD+RW.  The Apocalypse I had on VHS, but it was missing the first ten minutes or so.  Really don't know what made me buy that thing on DVD, it is soooooo awful.  Just an impulse buy spurned on by a couple of beers I guess.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

A few days ago I bought a 10 movie set called the 10 Faces of Sonny Chiba and a box set call the Samurai Collection that had Ninja Wars (I thought this was an awesome movie) G.I. Samurai, and Legend of the Eight Samurai. I also bought the Horror Classics 50 movie pack.

Niolani

I've bought Critters 2, just because of the amazing presence of Terrence Mann as Ug. Also, I arrived 10 minutes before the store closing and this was the only acceptable movie I could find with so little time left.

Deathtrap (With Christopher Reeve), haven't watched it yet and I know little about it. Wish me luck!

Also, Uninvited has not arrived yet :bluesad: it's coming from Nebraska so I can understand some delay but it's getting to a worrysome point now...

Thanks to the Big Lots tip from CheezeFlixz I got Paths of Glory, Vernon, Florida and The Ghoul brand new for $3 each!  They had a number of other things I wanted as well but I limited myself to the cash I was carrying.
