GI Joe Movie

There was a topic on here about The Gi Joe movie...Is it worth it to buy on dVd?  Does anyone die?  Or is it like the cartoon where they all miss eachother. lol.. I love the cartoon.

At one point, I think one of the characters (Duke, I believe) was killed, but they edited the movie so that he was only seriously wounded.  And the new villains all get gleeped, I believe.

It's okay, as I remember it, but it's been a while and mileage might vary.

It is very good, I never saw an episode of it before I saw the film and I didn't think I would like it, but after seeing the film I have become a GI Joe fan. Duke was the character who was meant to die but after negative reaction of Optimus Prime's death in Transformers it was changed. If you get the DVD, be careful since about half way through they change from calling it GI Joe to Action Force, the UK name of it (don't ask me why.) And 'Yo Joe!' becomes 'Full Force'. Despite this it is great.
