Eating a ghost and stuck in a hole

There are two movies I'm trying to find the name of. I'm not entire sure if it's full length movies, or just shortfilms.

The first one is about a man that tries to eat a ghost. He have all kinds of equipment, and in the end he manages to do it. When he eats the ghost it looks like floating shrimps that flows into his mouth.

The second one is about a man walking on the side of a road. It's forest everywhere, so he must be out in the country. Suddenly his foot get stuck in a hole. He can't get loose, and now and then some cars drive by, but no one stops to help him.
Later another wanderer comes by, and he tries to help him. But he can't get the foot out, so he tries to stop the cars that drives by. But in the end he just get run over. The guy with the foot stuck in the hole starts screaming that something is chewing on his leg.

In the end we only see the other foot sticking up from the hole, and it slowly gets dragged down. There's also this third wanderer that notices the walkman lying on the ground, so he  picks it up and continues his walk.


I had a list somewhere over description of movies I've tried to find for years, but I can't find it anymore. Annoying.

There's a good chance that the "Ghost Eating" film could be "The Gourmet" from 1984 starring Charles Grey based on a story by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Don't know about the "hole" film, sounds like a short film. The ghost eating one could be The Asphyx (1973, i think?), where a man's wife and son die and he tries to capture a spirit to put into them, but it goes into him instead and he then lives forever???

The Asphyx is actually the reverse scenario: they are preventing the ghosts from going into them so that they can live forever.  However, the Asphyx monsters do look kind of like weird shrimp.

The "stuck in a hole" film is a short from 1988 called Out Of Town starring a young David Morrissey. You can find it on YouTube: I can't post the link but search for Out Of Town Norman Hull.
