Actually the movie is called "Return of the Alien's Deadly Spawn."  Interesting title since I cannot locate any precursor.  Pretty good bad movie about a giant alien that looks like a flesh version of a venus flytrap with rows upon rows of teeth in its multiple heads.  Three great scenes:

1)  Baby aliens (look like 8 inch slugs with huge mouths with teeth) raid an old lady's tea party.  One falls in the blender before they make their attack and some of the women indulge in alien pate before being beset.  They didn't carry the battle to its conclusion, but as a neutral observer, I think the old ladies had the upper hand once they shook off their initial shock.

2)  Three teens are barricaded in an upstairs bedroom with the adult alien lurking outside.  Suddenly there's a knock and a girl's voice.  They open it to see one of the guys' girlfriend who walked into the house.  Before they can warn her the monster pops out of nowhere and they just manage to drag her into the room and re-barricade the door before she is chomped.  The girl stands shaking in the center of the room for a few seconds, points at the door and goes: "WHAT THE F*** WAS THAT!?!?!"  It is one of the most natural reactions I have ever seen in a movie and it was hilarious!

3)  A young boy wanders into the basement (flooded now by two feet of water).  Suddenly the alien rises up and menaces him.  He stands still, barely breathing.  The alien doesn't attack.  The kid's father's severed head drops out of one of the aliens' mouths and plops in the water in front of him.  He doesn't even flinch.  He reaches his arm out to the right and snaps his fingers.  The alien turns quickly in that direction.  He realizes the monster cannot see and he'll be safe if he stays quiet.  That's one cool-ass kid.

Cool movie - anyone see it?

Oh,yeah:I fondly remember this ultra-low budget, but heavily ambitious splatter classic, with all of those juicy gore scenes(mainly the one where Mom's decapitated head gets slowly eaten to bits by the alien slug babies,as well as numerous limbs being chewed off, with spurting blood everywhere).
Also great is its sequel,1988's  "Metamorphosis:The Alien Factor"(which was made on a million budget budget, and took three years to film, and is just as mucho ambitious, and massively gory, as the original.

Yeah, it's one of my favourites.  The guy who made this didn't do any other films afterwards.  A shame, since his talent and enthusiasm shine in every scene.  For a low budget flick, this is one of the best.  Elite is releasing a special edition DVD for it soon to.  Definitely worth owning.
