Yeah, I kinda took a hiatus from bad movies since last week, but I started up again with a real gem!  This movie was pretty entertaining throughout, if you have low standards . . . but wait, this is Badmovies.org.  What are standards again?

20 years ago, professional mountain climber Sean McIntyre came back from  the Himalayas and murdered his entire family over Thanksgiving dinner.  Now an enterprising college entrepeneur wants to pair six couples (two football players, two blond bimbos, a serious Wiccan redhead and a reluctant brunette lesbian) and have them spend the night in the McIntyre house on Halloween, all for a live Webcast entitled "Death on Demand".  To spice things up, the promoter has invited a real, live porn star to be one of the contestants.  Whoever survives the night shares a $5000 grand prize.

Of course, the first thing the six hapless contestants do is hold a seance that stirs up the whacked-out spirit of McIntyre, who pauses only long enough to allow the obligatory nude scenes before hacking up everybody - and I mean everybody - in the house.  The kills are gruesome and creative, the girls reasonably attractive, and not a single character has enough redeeming features to make you want to root for them.

In short, this is a GOOD bad movie!!! Enjoy it!

Cult Movie Mania

indiana,
Thanks for that review of Death on Demand.  Actress Krista Grotte plays the porn star character, and she's great.  She's actually from the Tampa Bay area of Florida (where I'm based), however she flew up to New York state, where DOD was produced.   Krista recently wrote and stars in a phenomenal short film entitled Alarum, which has many horror elements.  Alarum is in the release stage right now and is making its way across film festivals across the country.  Look for it in your area, if anyone out there is a Krista Grotte fan.  In the meantime, enjoy DOD.
