Last I heard her and Robert has split up over a studio not wanting him to cast her in the Barberella remake or something.

But, the woman can't act, but she's sure got the physical goods for the role.

The split up has been denied, and the project was officially announced at Comicon (plus two posters), so we can all hope.

Personally I can't stand her.  She single handedly ruined Charmed   Well, okay, to be fair the writers share equal credit.  But now they're going to remake a movie about an extremely physical female character, originally played by Brigitte Nielsen, and cast some tiny little petite thing in the role? 

And see her naked?     Yeah, um...good luck with that

I guess with Robert Rodriguez behind the wheel, we may get more out of it than a typical, watered-down modernized sword & sorcery fantasy.  Why, I can just visualize those CGI wonderscapes right now.

I prefer my sword & sorcery from a time that mattered far more: the late '70s/early '80s: Circle of Iron, Dragonslayer, Conan the Barbarian, Excalibur, Clash of the Titans, The Sword and the Sorcerer, Beatmaster, etc.

I certainly agree with that, the films back then actually seemed much more believeble and had a real special, magical quality that kids now just don't get. Stuff like dragonslayer, hawk the slayer and willow are weird and cheesy, but it really did seem that in the 80s, all this stuff was REALLY going on somewhere!

....that's the only reason I'd watch it (i'll stick with the original Sonja movie-wise tho')

I ask because, well, uhm, aside from Planet Terror and Charmed (which she didn't take her kit off for IIRC) I can't think of a single movie I recall with her in it.  So, uhm, yeah, whatever.
