i just don't understand how someone can rant so hardcore about this without even having purchased the thing. great, you know it sucks compared to other versions. move on. i can only imagine how many people would have been killed in the explosion had you actually purchased it before finding out that it was an inferior product.

Have you ever rented a really awful movie?

After you rented the awful movie, did you run out and buy it?

...No, I didn't think so.

I'm not going to buy something that I know is awful.

(By the way, that rant wasn't "hardcore".  It was just a joke.)

actually, i haven't rented a movie in over 3 years. just don't need to anymore. based on my preferences, reviews i've read, and the general vibe i get from the packaging, i usually buy.

my point though, was that your rant (used to be rants, but they got merged into this one thread) seemed excessive and over-excited. it didn't, however, seem "funny", so i'd be surprised if i was the only one who didn't realize that you were joking, as you claim. my apologies.

I know it seems really silly, but this is bothering me.  I can't wait any longer for Criterion to release the uncut version.  I don't know why they released a cut version anyways.

:hatred:

How can I convince Criterion to release the uncut version of Kwaidan?

I really want to know...
