84-86 Action/Adventure film about crowns (3)?

This movie I used to watch as a kid was your basic quest/adventure for crowns/jewels (three maybe) that was set during that time period. All the basic cliches for this type of movie - getting across a room through lasers, booby traps, etc. The one thing that really stands out is the fact that at the end a character (maybe one of the main characters) gets killed by these two snakes shooting out of this statue and biting either side of his neck! I always thought this was great. Please help me with the title of this movie.

Andrew is again correct. It is "The Treasure of the Four Crowns." I saw it when it was first released to theaters. And I must say, that while the film was a 3-D film, I liked the 2-D parts of it, better than the 3-D parts of it.
