The first movie has to do with a guy who finds some kind of stone or artifact that transforms him into a super hero type of dude.  Then he fights this group of people who can turn into monsters.  This evil group of people also turns other people into monsters.  I remember at one point a guy gets turned into this grasshopper type of monster.  What is the title of this movie?  I think he also saves a girlfriend from being turned into a monster.

The second movie is a horror movie, I think, but it might be one with comedy woven into it.  All I remember is that there is a vampire, werewolf, mummy, and possibly a "swamp thing" type monster in it.  Then there is some people who kill these monsters by the end.  It has probably been 17 years since I saw this movie, so I don't remember much.  I remember the mummy getting unwound, and the werewolf is shot with a silver bullet. Any ideas?

I've been wanting to know what these movies are for ages now.  Please help me.

Ash

Movie number one sounds like The Guyver.  Not 100% on that as it's been years since I've seen it.

Movie number two sounds like The Monster Squad.
Awesome movie!

I know you guys are 100% right on the first movie because I remember the word "guyver" used a lot, but I didn't know how to spell it.  I always came up with that movie based on the book "The Giver" when I tried to google the word.

And you guys sound so confident about the second movie that I will trust your judgment.

Thanks for the help!  SOLVED!
