No.15 - Dr. Carl Hill - Played by the awesome David Gale (R.I.P.), Miskatonic University's Dr. Hill aimed to steal the secret to re-animating life from student Herbert West while trying to bed the Dean's daughter. What did he get for it? Decapitation and exploding boa constrictor intestines. Not to be stopped by something as pedantic as losing his body, his undead head would go on to have bat wings grafted to it, thus allowing him to fly around and continue menacing West in Bride of Re-Animator.

Raymar (One Dark Night)

If anyone could give the tall man (Who should be added here himself eventually) a case of deja vu in the way of modus operandi, it would be Raymar from "One Dark Night"...If there is an idea that is underused in Hollywood, it's the psychic-vampire-zombie (And the parasite cat), and you know what, I've got mixed feelings about it. I think this ain't an idea that we should have a movie about every year, but if someone wanted to bring one of Raymar's kind back, it would be nice to see.

Haven't seen that flick in 20 years...?  Great movie I think the SCIFILM phorum helped me identify the title, obviously many years after I'd seen it (the clincher was the black chick with the toothbrush...strangely unforgettable.)   

I saw BELA LUGOSI in there as M. Legendre... but how about BELA LUGOSI as Count DRACULA (1931)?

23. Strack from Darkman.



Most would put Durant, who cuts off people's fingers with a cigar cutter, and admittedly while Durant is cool and does return for a sequel, he ultimately winds up just being a stooge to the real main villain of the movie, Strack, who despite his wimpy pencil-pusher appearance actually manages to put up a decent fight against Darkman, who is both super-strong and cannot feel pain. Those left and right hooks were pretty vicious, and I just love when he goes insane wielding that bolt gun. He's what Dick Jones in Robocop wished he was (yeah I said it; I await the wrath of Robocop fans)

For these reasons, as well as the fact he personally inspired a lot of my own fictional villain characters, I believe Strack to be a villain worthy of at least a passing mention in a 100 Best Villains list. Plus I just go for non-obvious choices.

There was a serial (featuring Dwight Frye as a hero!),a TV show,and forgien films!
