Almost all of them.
Barbeque sauce tastes good on EVERYTHING, even salad.

Yes, salad.

Who's next, the "touchy-feely" voiceover guy? "Mrs. Carey Titlecards"?

Mr. DS

In his voice I can almost hear him saying...

He was a man...a man of a deep voice...who boomed in many ears...telling us all...about what we can look forward to...IN CINEMA.

All kidding aside, his voice will be missed and trailers will never be the same.  Being a former broadcaster I have a huge amount of respect for the man.  RIP.

He's the only person who can come close to that great a voice.

Not a trailer, but I'm sure you'll recognize his voice here.

Actually, that's what I was referring to when I said his 15 minutes of fame, I'd bet a lot of people didn't know that was even a natural voice doing that V.O... I sure didn't! :buggedout:

I was just wondering which trailer or trailers he actually used the "In a world..." intro in.

I liked his work and the fact he had a sense of humor about himself, judging from the Geico ads, although I did think he had gotten a little over exposed in recent years. When it seemed that every movie trailer in the US featured his voice, even when they didn't or had no voiceover at all, it's a bit much.

As for who can replace him? I nominate Keith David, the great character actor and John Carpenter staple. He's already done voice work for commericals and for some trailers, including some of Carpenter's films. I remember his voice from trailers for Ghosts of Mars, too bad the trailers were so much better than the film itself.
