modeling-like movie from the 90's

im searching for a movie i saw on tv 2-3 times during the mid-late 90's.
its about this girl who went to become a model and her working her way thru the career, exercising every morning, she'll run up this flight of stairs listening to music (i think). then i think there's some trouble with love but all is well in the end. its an american film. the girl is blonde and quite pretty.

thats pretty much what i rmb from so long ago. i'd really love to watch that movie again!
