I can not believe you people are polluting a perfectly good thread on the finest Kentucky Bourbon every made with a bunch of cheap beer talk.

That reminds me of something a taxi driver said to a friend of mine somewhere in Eastern Europe when they were backpacking: Taxi driver, after having a conversation with my friend about beer, says: "Well I drink beer, but I also drink alchohol..."

Two funny things this thread has brought to my mind:

According to my German professor, the German word for American beer is "Kamelep**se", or, "Camel p**s."

The real Samuel Adams was a mediocre brewer at best.  As I recall, Ben Franklin called Sam Adam's lager "horse p**s."


I'm neither a heavy nor a regular drinker.  A rum and coke after a particularly bad day is about my maximum.
