Welcome kakihara! Seen all the movies on your list and enjoyed 'em all in one fashion or another! Given your posting name I'm surprised you don't have Ichi the Killer in your list.

"Don't make me stain my last clean shirt with the back of your head." - Shatter Dead
"A grizzly bear with a chainsaw. Now THERE's a killing machine!" - The Simpsons
"I've always wanted to make love to an angry welder." - Jaws: the Revenge

i have so many favs. actually, ichi is one of my all-time favs! i like a couple of others by takishi miike too, like audition, i just saw deadly outlaw raekah, it was nothing special. i plan on watching visitor q and ichi1 some time. oh yeah, speaking of shocking asian movies, old-boy is another favorite.

Nice to see ya'. Sadly I have only seen the first 3 on your list in their entirety, though I'm happy to say I enjoyed them all immensely! Night of the Creeps deserves a special release, Spookies a (Region 1) director's cut, and I don't care what others say, Rawhead is one of the scariest creatures I have seen put to film :buggedout: . Hope to see more of you! :teddyr:

I've never been able to really bring myself to like "Prince of Darkness."  I want to like the film, because how can you not like Satan the Lava Lamp?  And Alice Cooper as the leader of the evil street urchins.  It just didn't work for me.  The film seemed to present a bunch of partially solidified ideas, some interesting visuals, and then it descends into complete anarchy - the only part of which I liked was the weird feed from the television that finally comes to some sort of fruition.

Yes, salad.

Welcome aboard Kakihara, "Manhunter" is a damn good thriller, better than "Silence OF The Lambs" IMHO. I remember the "Monsters" TV series as a late-night filler back in the late nineties.

I'd say you are in the right place, espcially if you can admit Howard the Duck is one of your top favorites. I saw that one in the theater when it came out.

Do you have the new From Beyond DVD? I still have the asian import, need to see that new version.

I found the blurry video of something coming out of the church very creepy.

Other than that:

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

over the last year or so i have spent alot of time and money on ebay trying to find all those wierd and special movies. i could barely remember alot of these, some of them i had seen on tv just once. prince of darkness was one that i just remember one scene from. i saw it when i was like 8 or 9, and the one part that stuck in my head was when the blonde headed girl reached into the mirror and was pulling the hand of the antigod through, that freaked me out! it scared me and interested me at the same time, i always wanted to see what he looked like. i thought he might look like the lord of darkness (tim curry)from the movie legend. i watched it recently and i liked it, it is slow and drawn out though, but very atmospheric. there more dialog than action,at times its like watching college kids have a debate about the devil. oh, that old professor who was in big trouble in little china always cracks me up, remember his "6 demon bag"?
