Where's Waldo (Wally)?

Has anyone ever looked for Waldo? 



I used to occasionally look at these at the bookstore and often drove myself nuts looking for him.  Now my son is starting to get into them.  I noticed the earlier books are best for him because they seem to be easier.  Waldo also had a cartoon back in the day.

What was that bad Waldo called, the one they put in to trick kids and make them cry?

The bad guy was creatively named Odlaw. He suffered from the Wario lack of inspiration syndrome.

You can ask where Waldo is, but he's an omnipotent being with no tangible form outside of the rare shape he assumes occasionally to give messages to his prophets, however that's just my two cents about him.

I'd also make a joke about the kid from Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher" video growing up to be the Waldo in "Where's Waldo?".  Just kind of an  obscure kid.
