I'm a sucker for crocs and gator movies. Some of my faves include

Crocodile (1981) - Hilariously bad crocploitation.

Crocodile (2000) - Very entertaining B-Horror from Tobe Hooper.

Blood Surf (2000) - Croc-cheese extreme, tons of fun.

Killer Crocodile (1989) - Over-the-top Italian Jaws rip-off.

The Big Alligator River (1979) - Another cheesy gem from Italy.

Honorable mention:

I don't think Alligator (1980), Dark Age (1987), Primeval (2007), Black Water (2007), Lake Placid (1999) and Rogue (2007) are "bad" enough to be listed here though.

Psycho Circus

"Alligator" & the original "Crocodile" are my favourites, I've seen "Blood Surf" but it was bad and I was very dissapointed with the "Lake Placid" stuff, as I thought that if they had taken those films seriously they would have been awesome!

Although limited screen time for the croc, how about Tobe Hooper's Eaten Alive?

I want to see the original Lake Placid sometime; I saw the second one but I don't think I finished it. Meh. I love the concept of a killer croc or alligator, but I want to stay interested during the movie!  :buggedout:

I really liked Lake Placid.  It all depends on if it's your style of humor or not.  Part 2, well, I think I turned it off after about 10 minutes.

Blood Surf wasn't all that terrible, I've watched it twice.  The 2000 version of Crocodile wasn't too bad, except for the obnoxious a-hole who lives to the end.  It would have been a much better movie if he'd been the first to go.

No love for Crocodile 2 Death Swamp?  I think I actually managed to watch it all the way through once.  The girls are kind of cute.  I've only seen the edited for TV version, I think the movie is probably improved by the deletion of 1,000 repititions of the F word.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

That one kind of slipped under my radar. Always meant to watch but never got around doing so. Same goes for SuperCroc and Killer Crocodile 2. Hopefully I can fill the gaps soon.

Am I the only one who used to feel bad for the crocs when Tarzan (Johnny Weismuller) would kill them by forcing their jaws apart?

I suppose sequels are good to giant reptile films! I would definitely agree Crocodile 2 outshone Crocodile by a long shot, and though I have yet to see the first "Alligator", I found it's sequel to be allright. The 5 minutes I saw of Lake Placid 2 bored me a whole lot less than the entirety of Lake Placid 1. XD

Add me to the Blood Surf lovers; the characters were hilarious and the sets and effects had a fun, low-budget vibe to them without looking so fake as to make a viewer discontent.

Dude I don't even speak French!! Now you're gonna say that I work for that site too?? I thought that it would add to the conversation because that site has tons of alligator/crocodile flicks that might interest someone that started a thread about killer crocs/alligators. You posted a "Youtube" link...could you work for "Youtube"??  :hatred:
