It Hangs From Your Rear View Mirror

Some people have a ton of stuff hanging from the rear view mirror in their cars.  Others do not.  Most people usually hang at least an air freshener while others hang those Mardi Gras beads.
My sister has so many of those beads hanging from her mirror that I sometimes think the entire mess is going to fall off.

As for my car, I have a scorpion hanging from it.
Yes...a real scorpion.
It's one of those small scorpions encased in a plastic oval.  The oval is attached to a black cloth lanyard and looks similar to this:



That one looks slightly different because the lanyard part is different and the scorpion in mine also looks slightly different.
I've always wondered what kind of scorpion is in mine.  It looks like the Deathstalker scrorpion because of its dark tail tip, but I don't think it's one of those.

Everyone who gets into my car always wants to have a closer look at it and almost always compliments me on it.
And it's in the shape of the letter "J" and my first name is Jamey.

I use to have a skeleton key chain hanging from my mirror back in the day.  I haven't had anything hanging in from the mirror in awhile.  My wife had this god awful purple lei which served more as a major driving obstructio than a nice decoration.

Take a picture and post it and we'll see what we can do. The problem is if you don't have any information where it's originally from. If yours is an American "native" it shouldn't be a Deathstalker, because this genus does not occur in the States. The most common species of the genus is unfortunately quite popular for keeping in terrariums, so this stuff could be produced from bred specimen even in the US.

I just have an air freshener in my car.  I usually don't hang anything in my rear view mirror but I need to make my car smell nice at times.

A Pine tree air freshener and I also have a fan (since I have no air conditioning) that I work by plugging into the cigarette lighter outlet.

When I do get a car I'll probably get a pair of dice.  Always wanted a pair of those
