When I was a kid, I got hooked on The Carpenters. I guess most of those songs are considered really schlocky and syrupy, but I just couldn't get enough of Karen Carpenters low, lush voice. Still can't. I was so angry at her for dying of *&$(#*$& ANOREXIA!  I'm at work so I'm not going to mess around with YouTube. Maybe later.
