Now this is downright disturbing!
If I had seen this when I was eight years old, it would have given me nightmares for a week.   :buggedout:

This is Turkey's version of E.T. the Extra Terrestrial

I haven't seen this Turkish masterpiece but I have seen Turkish Wizard of Oz with a live redubbing by a comedy troupe. Thank you Turkey!

I not only own Badi, but I also have The Turkish Wizard of Oz (undubbed, pure Turkish, baby!), Turkish Star Wars, Turkish Star Trek, Turkish Superman and 3 Dev Adam (the one with the Turkish versions of Spider-Man, El Santo and Captain America, of all people).

Badi is scary as heck for a kiddie flick, and has some very questionable scenes (an actual dead dog is used in one scene) and others that are just hallucinogenic in their utter badness.  I love it, of course, and would recommend it to anyone in an instant.

Oh, and here's another scene, random to be sure (and kinda NSFW, so be warned).

That is pretty creepy. Most horror movies can't do as well.

I did get a kick out of Dad (presumably) just walking out and yelling at the alien. That was pretty surreal. Took a second to figure out that he mistook this thing with a giant head and arms down to the floor, standing in a well-lit hallway, for one of the kids. I guess it did have its back to him

Then it suddenly turns into The Benny Hill Show. Weird.
