I read on the Evil Dead 4 Rumor control site an excert from an interview with Sam Raimi. He said after he's done Spiderman movies he plans on something different. He said maybe (and I stress MAYBE) Evil Dead 4 as he likes horror and working with Bruce Campbell. Personally I wouldn't get my hopes up. Sure Evil Dead 4 would be great but it might not ever happen.

Yeah,I'm not eagerly waiting for  a new "Evil Dead" movie to be made any time soon, myself, since Sam Raimi is too busy with numerous projects(including the next "Spiderman" film),and Bruce Campbell has stated that he has no interest in playing Ash one more time(even for the sake of the fans),as well as act in another "Evil Dead" film.

people, come on we must hold on to hope. hope is all we have!

Luke Bannon

Josh, I have a little, tiny bit of hope, but I have to say while i wouldn't mind a sequel it isn't likely and I'm happy with just 3 parts. I use my imagination most of the time to imagine number 4. Plus Number 4 does exist, it's avaliable for the Playstation and called Hail to the King (Well Bruce Campbell said he thinks it's good for the 4th part.)

Lee

Alright this crap is getting old! Now I'm pretty sure you all know I'm a big fan of Bruce, Sam, and the Trilogy, but would you get over it already! Hey if Evil Dead 4 did get made, I'd do my best to be there opening weekend, but I doubt it will happen. First off: is part 4 neccessary?Because part three wrapped up the story pretty good. Second: will it get funding?Part three didn't perform real well unfortunatly but with Sam's success with Spider-man that could change. This bring me to my next point. Third: Would Sam and Bruce want to make a fourth?Bruce and Sam have said it won't happen. Neither seem to be that interested in making a fourth. Probably the only reason a fourth would be made is to get people to shut up(since people have been asking them when part four comes everytime they turn around since part three came out). And being that they aren't all for it that means the passion is not all there. Without that the project has no energy resulting in a mediocre(sp?) movie. Is it really worth it? I don't think so!

Sorry to contradict you but I BELIEVE it was on Bloody Disgusting that Bruce Cambell said he would like to do an Evil Dead 4 if it happened. He also said he had interest in Phantasm 5 but that's off the subject.

josh patrick

Yeah i know both bruce and sam said they would like to do another, its the money thats the problem.

Luke Bannon

i agree with you. Whole heartidly.
