Made some, it's great. a couple of notes though:

1) 'Extra Crunchy' peanut butter makes it WAY hard to deal with. The size of the chunks is about three times as big as the thickness you want the peanut butter layer to be in the first place. (BTW, why is 'Extra Crunchy' peanut butter MORE expensive? All they do is grind the peanuts up LESS. They're CHARGING YOU for THEIR laziness)

2) Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (or ground up regular sized chips) makes a fine addition to the peanut butter.

Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

Glad to see the recipe got some use. I've been meaning to whip up a batch of the stuff myself.

I don't remember my mom ever making it with chunky peanut butter. That would have been pretty exotic at our house.

Oh, yeah, Irish potato candy is great stuff! I didn't see that recipe. I'll check it out.
