These all seem like movies that I would LOVE. I need to make a list. PEICES and POULTRIGEIST are 2 thatve been on the list for a while, and a COPLETELY UNCUT version of SLEEPAWAY CAMP would be nice, but the only available version is the german VHS. good luck finding THAT, right?

I liked 'Vulgar' and I totally agree that it fits in this catagory. Bryan Johnson is an inglorious bastard. A lot of these films I need to see, as I haven't been shocked in awhile. The 'BME Pain Olympics: the Final Round,' while an internet shock video (which I haven't seen), was in fact a joke with convincing effects and I have heard consistantly heard it described as tasteless. By the way, I DO have an uncut copy of 'Sleepaway Camp,' and on DVD no less.
Bruce Campbell is a lover and a fighter. If you want to find him, follow the trail of dead men and pregnant women.

Are you SURE? Because I know that there is a dvd copy floatin' around out there that SAYS its completely uncut, but its not. Is it the one that came in the Sleepaway Camp box set?

No, it's the one released by Legacy. I assure you, it's uncut and intact. No special features WHATSOEVER, just the wonderfully s**tty film with the weirdest twist ending of its time.

By the way, even though I don't think they're at the level of most of those mentioned here, I feel that 'Natural Born Killers' and 'A Clockwork Orange' deserve mention.

I must warn you, the quality sucks. A lot. I hear the slightly trimmed Anchor Bay version (which I don't own and haven't seen) has much better quality and way more special features, including a commentary. Just a warning. I, for one, do not regret my purchase. If you can't find a copy, I'll help you out.

If that's all you want, you won't be dissapointed. Let me know. By the way, you and I share a birthday which makes you exactly one year older than me. We share the day will J.R.R. Tolkien, Mel Gibson and THE Sergio Leone. Just wanted the get that out there.

Whoa, that makes us like, interdimentional twins or something!
Do you think you could burn me a copy of yours and send it to me? If not, where did you find yours?

I bought mine at Alco (which sells a lot of the films heralded on this site) for about $4.99. Sure, I could mail you a copy, but that might be a crime, I think. We'll burn that bridge when we come to it. Let me know how things work out at Alco or if you need me to send you a copy.

We had a thread a while back called "Most Disturbing Films", and I bet both of these got mentioned there.  Both seem more disturbing than tasteless.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

It is a crime if you're not the copyright holder.  Not exactly a serious crime, but a crime nonetheless.  Probably something Andrew would prefer not be discussed on open forums.

It looks like the Legacy version is available cheap/used from sellers at Amazon: http://www.amazon.ca/Sleepaway-Camp-Robert-Hiltzik/dp/B00077BOO2.

By the way, Re. J. Darkside, did you make your screenname by mashing my name together with the Darksider?   :bouncegiggle:

I figured that it was a bad idea to mention a possible crime here, but stupid me, I did it anyway. My name was designed by taking the style I earned in seminary and combining it with a childhood nickname. I am a Mitchum fan, though, and 'Night of the Hunter' has and always will be one of my favorites.

I submit that 'Itch & Scratchy' and 'Happy Tree Friends' are both examples of a severe taste deficit in animation. To such an extent that I refuse to watch either, in fact. For some reason extremely cartoony blood and gore unsettle me in a way that an actual snuff probably couldn't.

Aw man, have you ever seen that bit in Family Guy (personaly, not a fan of) that parodies an old looney tunes cartoon where Elmer Fud SLAUGHTERS Bugs with a shotgun? Nasty.
