This whole game is available as an Xbox Live Arcade download. It's also available for free if you are willing.

It's a cool game. It's one of the first examples of dual joystick movement/shooting 2-D games as well, which I obviously love due to my unfettered obsession with Geometry Wars.

It really holds up after all these years. I highly recommend it.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

You know, there are emulators and such things. Visit www.planetemu.net, they have everything you need.

I think I finished Smash TV about 7 times.  Crazy fun game.  Still got my old NES console and that game.

Thanks to the newly formed Elvira thread, I found myself in the mood to dig this antique out of its hiding spot and give it a couple plays again.

Elvira: Jaws Of Cerberus

I never got to play the first game though.

Even in weak late 80's or early 90's computer graphics Elvira is terrific.

I agree. Try "Waxworks", by the same authors if you can, I think SCUMMVM supports it. Gameplay is very similar, but instead of Elvira it features a Lovecraft-inspired plot. Very nice.

As soon as I read "Lovecraft-inspired plot" I was sold.

Well, actually only one of the levels is pure Lovecraft, but since you can play them in any order...

Behold... its MobyGames profile!

Still playing Unreal Tournament 2004, most of the playing I do is testing the mods I am making.

One of my best friends who has an X-box 360 (and lives just a mile down the road from me BTW) picked up Left for Dead recently.

Man, I haven't had this much fun in a while playing a video game and I'm even not that much of a fan of first person shooters.

Anyone who loves zombie movies really owes it to themselves to try out Left For Dead.  It's designed to really be played multi-player which is how anyone should try it.

I'm giving STALKER - Clear Sky a try. I've heard nothing but bad reviews of this one, but I'm a great fan of the first game in the series, Shadow of Chernobyl. The gameplay can be sometimes frustrating, but I've never seen such an immersive game before.
