Here's an interesting article from Empire Online on a sequel to the "classic" Easy Rider .

This is another one of the "Who Cares?" bits of news, for me, at any rate.  I haven't seen the original (and don't care to, thanks), so if someone thinks the world needs a sequel, that's cool beans by me.

Of course, Easy Rider AD is being done by the people who brought us Feddy Got Fingered .  Which gives the whole thing the air of not rightness.

Hopefully, this'll prove to be Just a Rumor and will Fade Away Fast.

Or a Joke.  That'd be nice, too.

Cullen, who wonders why the orignial sequel idea was dropped.  You know, the one set in the future, dealling with mutant bikers...

Edit - Confirmaton here.

As if anyone cares...

Oh dear. What the hell is film making coming to?

Steven Millan

Wasn't this sequel supposed to be made in the late 80s,with both Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper back as angel versions of their former selves?!
Pete must be in desperate need of money to be hard up for this unfortunate yeoman gig,and Dennis is wisely smart enough to pass this loser of a concept up(guess all of his direct-to-video gigs are really paying off well for ole Frank Booth).

Squishy

There was talk of this "Fugitive"-style plot a year or two ago, but I thought (hoped?) it had died...Originally, it was the sons of Fonda's and Nicholson's characters who were supposed to team up on the road to solve the murder...

Now we have a completely moronic title, and word that the people behind "Freedy Got Fingered" are making it. SPEWWWWWWWWW!
