Been re-acquainting myself with Green Day's American Idiot album, which I think is the best CD of its genre of the mid-decade. While the music is just as great as it was four years ago, it's creeping toward anachronism status because the slams at the Bush administration that sounded topical and biting then seem outdated now. Still a fine piece of work, and this song is my favorite from it:

I listen to these songs on you tube as you can't get the CD in Britain.

The last couple days has been Pink Floyd Animals. I forgot how much i loved this album and it has been fun to hear it again.
