This pretty ridiculous low budget action movie was made by the guy who did the American Ninja movies.  If you like that mid 80's cable vibe like "Vice Squad"  and "the Hidden" you might like this though it's not quite  as good as those.   Very similar to Chuck Norris fare like "Code Of Silence"  and like alot of the cable / video boom  cash-in stuff from that era  had lots of violence, lots of cliches and a flimsy plot.     It drags a bit here and there but not half  as much as many others

Oliver Reed  plays a fat gangster who rapes and kills and so forth along with his very 80's goons  in order to get this bag thing with $500,000 in it from our saxophone playing hero.  This motivation seems absurd considering the level of carnage  as does the saxophone stuff, which is what got me to rent it.  It's so cheesy and cheap you can hear the mst3k bots without them even being there.

some dialogue

"Let her go!!  she has nothing to do with this!! "  this never works.  why not try some sarcasm " Oh yeah bring her into it.  cuz she has so much  to do with this!"

"hey, dickbrain"  rapid gunfire

I think that's what he says

I wonder if Trevor knows about this as I see the director is from his part of the world

edit: here's a good review by some guy who'd know better than me

I do know about this film and believe it or not, Cedric Sundstrom is a good friend of mine.  :teddyr:

As far as I remember, the censor board in SA banned this film outright.
