In a response to the What's the most pointless thing you did today post.

I'll go first.

Today I went to a firing range and shot some bullets from a real gun for the first time. My friend bought two so I got to try them.   The first was a Rauger and I did fairly well for a beginer with that.  Then I tried a baretta-which had more a a kick back then I expected.  I was harder to hit the taget with it.  I guess I need more practice.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I woke up really hung over, but still managed to get the last of my stuff into my new home.

Had a weird dream about my late father. I got 'em 'round this time of year.

Then...
Got up on time (not typical for me), shaved (also not typical for me), chatted with a fiend on the phone (again, not typically something I would do), then ran a couple errands.

Then...
Auditioned for Anthony Horowitz' Mindgames http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/event.php?eid=40978853006 http://www.cattheatre.com/ & invited my friend along http://www.myspace.com/digitalmaestromusic because he was interested in what I do (first time in my life that's happened).

It was a very unusual audition. Typically, they give you five minutes, then the boot.
In this case, the characters change personas several times, so this was the first audition I've ever been to stay a while & retry different parts.
Then I got a chance to do some brown nosing on behalf of WRIR, & on behalf of my friend, who's a composer, ran a couple more errands, and then, told you guys about it.

Ate my sandwich at work with some Fritos.  It was a thanksgiving sandwich I concocted myself.

Woke up late and started playing The World Ends With You.  Bear in mind, my day has only just begun. Mwahahahahaha.  My girlfriend and I are planning to go to Applebee's with the giftcard she got for Xmas.

Went to see the annual Louisville/Kentucky basketball game.  One of the fiercest rivalries in sports at any level--the two fanbases absolutely hate each other, and it has as much to do with socioeconomic differences as team loyalty.  Great game, and the good guys won on a last second shot, too.   :tongueout:
