2001 A Space Odyssey - 2 disc edition.  Kind of an impulse buy, read one too many reviews talking about the amazing picture and sound quality  :teddyr:

Intangible Skeleton

The Exterminator - The tagline is "If you're lying, I'll be back..."

and

Spiders

I have a habit of buying cheap movies that look stupid on a whim, even if I've never seen them before or heard anything about them. It's more fun that way.

Joe the Destroyer

Picked up Pumpkinhead 3/4 double pack.  I just need to get my hands on PH2 now, and I'll have the full set.

Jack

Unearthed (2007) - one of those After Dark Horror Fest movies, starring Emmanuelle Vaugier.  Saw it on the Sci-Fi Channel, it had very good suspense scenes, and very bad action scenes, edited together like an MTV video to the point where I couldn't tell what the hell was going on.  Oh well, worth 4 bucks at least.

A small horde of restored Shaw Brothers DVDs:

King Boxer (Five Fingers of Death) - I'm really looking forward to seeing this restored.
The 36th Chamber of Shaolin
Heroes of the East
Heroes Two
The Master
The Brave Archer (still not shipped yet - curse it all!)

These restored versions are gorgeous.  "Heroes of the East" has looked the best so far, as it is an anamorphic widescreen DVD.  I have only watched about half of them; "Five Fingers of Death" is the next on my viewing list.  They are supposed to be releasing a restored version of "Chinese Super Ninja" (aka, "Five Element Ninjas") in 2009, but I can't find any more information on the release date.  That's one of my favorite old school martial arts films.  I have a review done for it, but have kept it on hold pending the new release.

Other DVDs:

Gamera the Brave
Despiser
Outerworld
Drive-In Cult Classics 3 (which has "The Pink Angels!")

The true must-see in this set is "The Babysitter".  You'll never look at Tom Laughlin the same again. He directed and co-wrote this "X-rated" feature. It is now second only to "Blood Mania" as my favorite movie. This set also has "Weekend With The Babysitter", which is the same damned movie but re-made so it is more viewer-friendly. Same director and same two guys writing the script, one of which plays the lead male in both movies, and he gets to fondle, kiss and grope the young female leads in both movies.  Talk about indulging yourself.  "Weekend" isn't as jaw-droppingly fun as its older sister but the girl is attractive, even though she looks like she can smell a turd in every scene.  Maybe it was the old guy she was dating in the film.

Oh, and "Blood Mania" is on there too, so now you can see what Greedo was packing under that suit when Solo blasted him.  Wow, Ms. Maria is a lovely woman, and can channel crazy like no one else.

Haven't watched "The Pink Angels" yet, but it has to be better than "Raw Force".

MY BLOODY VALENTINE  (special edition)

TOKYO GORE POLICE

"There is no way out of here. It'll be dark soon. There is no way out of here."

Raffine

I just ordered the second season of Rod Serling's Night Gallery.

It's got "The Caterpillar" and "Pickman's Model", two episodes I vividly remember scaring the crap outta me as a wee child.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

KYGOTC

and the long awaited UNCUT M.B.V.!

"I'm a man too, you know! I go pee-pee standing up!"

Joe the Destroyer

Picked up Braveheart at Wal-Mart for $5, plus I got Napoleon Dynamite, Diary of the Dead, and Butterfly Effect from a buddy of mine for $2 a piece.
