Horror movie from 80's

I saw a movie about twenty years ago that had a lady driving down a country road in a rain strorm and sees a large doll standing in the middle of the road, she gets out of the car and when she tries to pick the doll up the doll starts scratching and clawing at her arms.  That is all I remember but I would really like to figure out what the movie was(I was watching it when I was like eight or nine so memories are a little hazy)

I am thinking it was early eighties,no later than 85

I think that may be it, I tried finding it online to see if I could get a copy of the movie and cannot find it anywhere!

I just found a movie trailer for Curtains on youtube and saw the exact scene that I remember in that trailer, mystery solved!!!  Thank you very much, now I can stop thinking about it(I would still like to know where to get a copy of this movie though).

Wish I'd seen your post before, I'm pretty sure it's "Curtains".
You can see the whole movie for free in "watch movies free.net"
Just search for "curtains". I dont think its ever been released on
dvd and vhs copies sell for alot on amazon. Of course there are those
daring individuals who have transfered it from vhs to dvd. Unfortunately
I'm not one of em. Thoug lately there are programs that let you capture
video from youtube and the like, perhaps with one of these you can
get it from that site :-) .
