i'm too lazy to see if these were mentioned but here's a few that come to mind:

any song from the rocky soundtrack (ie: eye of the tiger, living in america..etc)
We are the champions - "Revenge of the Nerds" - I do'nt know who said The might ducks!
another brick in the wall - "The wall"
danger zone & love and feeling - "Top Gun"
blue moon - "An american werewolf in london"
danke shon - "ferris beuller's day off"
everybody wants to rule the world - "real genius"
Old Time Rock and Roll - "Risky Business"

and I think i'm marred for life with
Open Arms - "The last american virgin"

J.R.

I can't hear the Beatles song "Can't Buy Me Love" without thinking of the film by the same name, "starring" Patrick Dempsey. There is some evidence that this song was a hit prior, but that's what it means to me.

And is there any film besides Buckaroo Bonzai that could carry that cool synth song that rolls over the credits?
