VULGAR

I recently watched the film VULGAR.  It's produced by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back etc...)  It's a film about a loser (Brian O'Holloran who played Dante in Clerks)who's day job is dressing up as a clown named Flappy.  Business is bad so he gets it in his head that he can do better by changing his Flappy clown image to a sleazy, nasty, barely dressed clown named Vulgar.  His plan is to show up at male bachelor parties and "suprise them".  On his first night out as Vulgar he accidentally knocks on the wrong door and is taken and sodomized by a VERY sick man and his 2 VERY sick sons.  After he seems to come to terms with it he resumes his job as Flappy.  While dressed up in his clown garb he happens upon a potentially violent domestic dispute and saves the day.  This is all captured by the local news.  He's invited on a talk show and becomes an instant celebrity overnight.  If you haven't seen it yet then the rest of the film I will not reveal but I'm sure you can imagine when I say that it goes all downhill from there.  My God did this movie suck!!  It's basically a very dark and violent film with Kevin Smith's usual crew.  Virtually everyone that was in Clerks is in this movie in some form or another.  O'Holloran and the guy that played the SICK father are the only actors in the movie that can act worth a damn and seemed to keep my interest.  I kept wanting to see the father dead.  There are even cameos with Kevin Smith as a big shot producer and Jason Mewes(Jay) as a lowlife.  If you've seen this awful film please share your thoughts......

they talk about it on Howard Stern show all the time.  like that it sucks but the rape scene is really insane.
