Scott, seen all four of them and they probably range in quality like this:
"Cat People" Val Lewton. Val Lewton. Val Lewton. Enough said.
"Isle of the Dead" An unusual role for Karloff, but probably one of his better films.
"Curse of the Cat People" One of the better sequels, though it really has little to do with the original.
"Billy the Kid vs. Dracula" Not really very good, but fun to watch. And one of the few examples of the horror western.

My wife said she seen Boris Karloff the other night in a good movie called BEDLAM. I missed it though.

AMC is absolutely horrible now so I refuse to watch that station. The new amc... as in poor televison with less of a variety of movies and tons of commercials. Oh yeah I love the new amc! I think they set up that phone number and website just for people could rant about how bad their channel is now, ignore the comments and not have to put up with them. I mean the guy who runs the station believes it's a viewers obligation to view commercials. The golem is on later tonight -Midnight, plan on checking that out. Earth vs the spider is on? I'm guessing it's the older b&w one? Hand of death is classic trash that was quite rare for some time until it was shown again.

What channel and at what time does WILD WILD PLANET come on?

Well, AMC's new format is undeniably a step down, but it was a result of economic necessity. They still offer the occasional gem that you won't find elsewhere, but I am sad to see all the newer crap I can rent anywhere pushing out repeats of harder-to-find B-movies...

Note: BBC's four-hour version of "The Lost World" with Bob Hoskins is on again this weekend.
