The Carol  Burnett show!!
They tried, in 1991. It wasn't funny. Which was really strange considering how Carol Burnett has been funny in practically everything she's ever done.
I think I watched 2 episodes.
I, too, have fond memories of laughing my a** off watching "The CAROL BURNETT Show" but watching the musically-excised "CAROL BURNETT and Friends" a few years ago, I found the comedy, sadly, dated and kinda worn out...

I wish they'd bring back Penny Candy at the Boardwalk.

Locally-produced TV shows. Remember when your local TV station actually did more than insert half an hour of local news into a day of network programming?

The days when we didn't give any moron the title of celebrity. I long for the days when you actually had to have talent to be considered a celebrity, well maybe not talent but you weren't famous for acting like a complete jackass on some reality TV show.

anyone with half a brain wouldn't want to be a celebrity.  You get money, but you loose your freedom, dignity, privacy...I would never be happy.  Any mistake you make instantly becomes national news.

Pinball.

Affordable cigarettes.

Mass distrubution of horror film mags and comics-Once Upon a Time I could go to the newstand and find FAMOUS MONSTERS,Marvel's Monsters of the Movies, the Monster Times,Castle of Frankenstien,Movie Monsters,Creepy,Eerie,Vampirella,Conan the Barbarian,Dracula Lives,Tales of the Zombie,Witches Tales,Psycho,Captain America,Sgt.Fury,Two Gun Kid,Devil Dinosauer, the Spirit,MAD,Mr. Machine,Where Monsters Dwell,Sgt.Rock...all side by side selling at affordable prices a kid could buy with his fruit-picking or paper route money. Now it's hard to find any mags outside of comic book or specialty shops...miles away and out of reach for a small town kid on his bike. A shame. I learned to be a voracious reader from comics and fun monster mags. No wonder so many kids are near illiterate.

Hell yeah, Tesco have Chocolate and Strawberry ones made by Kelloggs. I obviously have to order mine online now with the rest of my shopping, on a count of being a nutjob.

Strawberry are my faves, but the price of 'em has jumped from £1.29 to £2.89.  :hatred:

I know in the US, we still have them. I got a few boxes in my pantry right now for my kids. We buy them all the time at our local grocery stores.
