This movie starts off like it is giong to be andy sidaris's leaner meaner cousin but it ends up being something far less exciting.  It's hard to beleive a movie that opens with a guy in a salmon colored members only jacket karate-ing another guys face in a bar could end up being anything less than totally intense but that's just what happens.  Once the jacket comes off,  this becomes a extremely low budget somewhat bizarre cross between a 70's crime drama and some sort of instructional video for police officers.     I always start a movie off at 5 stars.  this one settled down to 3 and that's just where it will stay.  In fact, it is the very model of three.  Surprisingly little martial arts considering the star is a karate master of some reknown.  not much action period.

LOL

shame it's not actually about a killer scorpion, though. someone needs to do one of these (if there isn't already)

I watched the trailer on youtube. I'm amazed how much Snakes On A Plane has ripped off this film. Big mutated scorpions stowed away on a plane then attack the passengers...right down to the couple making out in the toilet then get savaged...it's not even that old for S.O.A.P to be some kind of 'homage', only came out in 2001
