I have seen the second film - Guyver: Dark Hero which was okay, but large chunks of it full of people just looking at stuff had to be fast-forwarded.

Apparently, there used to be a website that had instructions on how to make a Guyver costume. Lots of forums and stuff reference it and how good it was, but the site's not there any more  . I don't suppose anyone knows if it's relocated?

Didn't realize it was based on a manga or anime when I first saw it.  Although, looking back how  could I have not seen that.  I thought it was one of the best straight to video movies I had seen at the time.  Because most of them still had really REALLY stupid cosutmes-where as these where decent.

Fun popcorn action movie, with some really cool costume/creature effects. It's muh better than the "Dark Hero" sequel.
