I've already discussed the Wishmaster series....now, how about another (relatively) well-known series,  the Tremors movies? I like them all, the characters are fun and the continuity is wonderful, especially between the first and third. The effects are good as well. They made me wonder why Fred Ward  wasn't bigger! Which was your favorite?  I liked em all!

Well, I have yet to see the third, but I do thoroughly enjoy the first two. The first was better, because it had Kevin Bacon, the second was good cuz of the gun man and they could walk. I think they are a fun series, better than that rip off sci fi called screamers (and wasnt there another one too?)

Dano

I liked all of them, although the first was the best I think.  For one thing, the original cast was intact.  Also the monsters were more mysterious.  They are among the few monster flicks I can think of where the bulk of the action took place in the bright sunshine.

Gotta love a good, old style monster pic.
....This series is right up there with "Them", "Beast from 20.000 fathoms", " Monster that challanged the world", " Beginning of the end." and others.
.... "Burt Gummer for Govenor. He knows which end of the tube the round comes out of."
....Yeah. How many sun lit monsters are there, anyhoo?

The first Tremors is still the best.  I never get tired of watching it.
Kneel before Dr. Hell, the ruler of this world!

Add another vote for the first being the best. In the second and third movies, the creatures were too easy to avoid and kill. They were only a threat because of their numbers.

Seen all three of them. All those who said the 1st is the best is correct, but, my favorite was the 2nd in the series. And remember, there is supposedly a "Tremors" television series coming to television. Enjoy!

Fearless Freep

Ditto on the firt being the best.

In the second, the mosters just weren't the menacing; half the 'threat' of the monsters was based directly on stupid things the characters did to make their predicament worse..  It was an oenjoyable movie in it's own right, but hard to real feel too much for if you were wacthing the second while remembering the first.

A TV series on tremors? What Channel and when?

Flangepart

Do you realy want to know? I don't . Maby i'll be wrong, but i don't have a lot of hope for it. It just don't seem right, my droogs....

If I recall corretly, it'll be on the Sci Fi channel. Don't remember "when"...

The first is one of my top all time movies but they shouldn't have screwed with the creatures in the second one. The graboids were just larvae for the crappy little walker ones. Come on! Should have left them alone. The walker ones are just dumb looking!
