Yeah, the second one was pretty lame.  Still not surprised.  It seems like any blockbuster that gets a sequel will automatically be made into a trilogy these days.  The one thing that I find kind of disturbing is that they're trying to make fourth installments to series, like Resident Evil 4, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Spider-Man 4, etc.
