OMG! I came across this movie while viewing cracked.com's 5 most half-@$$3d monsters in movie history. I immediately came to Badmovies.org to see how this film ranked against Manos Hands of Fate and Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. I was amazed to see, that this film is not on the list of films reviewed. I think it deserves a skull rating, as I could only endure less than 5 minutes of it before becoming overwhelmed with the need to stop the clip (an urge I had to suppress for 4 1/2 of those not quite 5 minutes). Has anyone else seen this? How did you not gouge out your eyes if you did? It's bad - REALLY bad. Poor production values, nonexistent acting, and tissue paper thin plot. Wow - definitely what you show when you feel the need to kidnap someone and torture them cruelly AND unusually! OK, I have to find a way to clear the images from my mind now...

If I recall properly that bed can make you get skeleton hands - which is not to be sneezed at.

No sir-ee Bob!
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I've own the movie... I think I seen it at least 4 times... :)

The history of the movie is quite funny, the director of the movie lost the film in the late 1970's and it was never offically released. Then there was a bootleg version on VHS during the 1980's. The Director actually found about this in 2000 while surfing the internet he bump into a forum that was talking about Death Bed and wanted to know if there's going be a DVD version. He offically released the movie in 2003.

I find the movie fun to watch, although its slow moving at times but the story is so unsual (and bad) to keep you watching.

I thoroughly enjoyed Death Bed!!  I think it's got something to do with the location that it was filmed in - I thought it was very pretty.

The skeleton hands part is HILARIOUS!!

here's a short review I wrote once. I'm not exactly what you'd call a professional writer

5/5

film geek review: This is sort of jean Rollins "Requiem for a Vampire" with a pinch of "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes". Also could be compared to a subtler "Rat Pfink a Boo Boo". The theme of a killer bed reminds me of something out of an indonesian horror movie with the bed as an some kind of primitive iconography that a westerner wouldn't get. The director kind of does whatever the heck he wants. The line between parody and story is fairly impossible to ascertain. loved it. Non film geek review: n/a
