It would be more heartwarming if they even knew what the hell the original movie was about. Or are we not talking about the movie with Kim Darby and Jim Hutton?

And Katie Holmes?  Well, at least it isn't Renee Zellweger.

Why remake it? The ending from the first story is open for a part 2... :(

And since the demons (???) were stuck in the house for 40 years before they took there next victim it would make sense that those demons (???) would do it again 40 years later...

Quote"Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" is based on a 1973 ABC telepic about a young girl who moves in with her father and his girlfriend and discovers they are sharing the house with devilish creatures.

WTF????

Can they at least see the movie that they are talking about!!!

It sounds just like the movie, dude. Move into a house then you got these little devil midget things. The plot is simple enough; I assume they are just changing the family around?

I really liked this movie, hate to see it gutted all over the floor.

That will be an interesting one for him to try, especially given almost all of "Pan's Labyrinth" and the tooth fairies segment in "Hellboy:  Golden Army."

I'm also going to hope against hope that this means a DVD release of the original could be in the works.
