For a really lengthy amount of time, I have been curious as to whether or not either of these films have a sequel or not. Both are very entertaining films with endings that imply a continuation of the film.

By the way, The New Kids was made in the eighties and starred James Spader as a psychotic, drug-dealing, country hick (no jokes about it). This movie blew my mind. It had a rather slow start but grew on me as it progressed. The setting was unique for a slasher flick as well. If you have seen it, you most likely know what I mean by my question above about the implication of a sequel. I do not wish to give anything away for those who have not seen this particular movie, so I will be subtle and just say the little boy...

As far as Ginger Snaps is concerned, it also desperately needs to answer several questions. The film that came after it was simply put: terrible. I was distraught to know that none of my questions would be answered in that particular film. Thus, I am here now and in desperate need of answers to the questions these movies have left me with.

Anyone who knows anything about either of these films having a sequel or follow-up, please let me know.

I agree...NEW KIDS is a very good film...Spader and pals were total dirtbags....but alas-no sequel was ever made.  :bluesad:
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Ginger Sanps Unleashed was part 2, then they went to The Beginning, which was the one set 100 years ago or whatever.  That was pretty much it as far as I know.

Well...it was worth a shot to look around. But of course not all good movies answer our innermost questions. Oh well, maybe someone out there in the universe will get a clue and make a sequel sooooon. Thanks for the input, though.

Yeah, a prequel after a cliffhanger is usually a bad idea... I don't know how they could do a sequel without it being just random werewolf gore (Since our main characters may or may not be pretty "incapacitated"). It would be fun to see the characters come back in some manner, as long as it doesn't devolve into, as I mentioned, random gore.
