J.R.

I'm still fruitless in my attempts to get my friends to call me J. Ro. Anyway, J.Lo is this "keepin' it real in tha ghetto, yo," type, why is she marrying quite possibly the biggest honkey in the world?

On the subject of Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon- She talks like she has a permanent headcold. And she's a hippie. I hate hippies.

And Van Damme is an a***ole too. His drunken tirades and sexual harrassment are well-documented.

After "A-Rod" was being called that, they started calling other baseball players with "Rodriguez" as a last name in similar fashion.  Such as "I-Rod" (Ivan Rodriguez) his teamate.

I heard someone asking why the don't do that for other names.  Like "P-Mart" for Pedro Martinez, but then someone suggested that he should be called "K-Mart"

I used to agree with the whole Jennifer Lopez bewilderment thing, but then on a recommendation I rented her in "Blood and Wine", with Jack Nicholson and Michael Caine.  I really brought home to me something I see all the time in the showbiz world, though it's easier to see in a stage production:  Sometimes, a little good Direction makes all the difference.  I now know J-Lo can act, and act quite well, if given the proper encouragement.  Go figure . . .

Occasionally I see shots of her (Lopez) in "Selena" on T.V. and I'm actually impressed with her acting and stage presence.  I think this was before she was big in her own right.

Same with Salma Hayek.  Seeing her in some interviews and in some shots from "Frida", she's pretty smart and a very hard worker.   She gets type-cast for being a female hispanic into roles I don't think she really likes, or at least roles that don't give her enough breadth to work as an actress.

And Lopez was easily the best Fly Girl on Living Color.
