Do you happen to know if she sings "Willow, Weep for Me" for Stan?  I have an excellent version credited to Kenton from a compiliation disc, and the liner notes didn't mention the vocalist  :hatred:.   Always wondered who it was; she had very deep & pure sounding tones.

It's not on Duet, but that probably is young JUNE CHRISTY you have on the compilation as she recorded that song with KENTON in the mid '40s.  The album Duet (1955) is probably JUNE CHRISTY's most highly regarded (my own favorite is This Time Of Year) but before she found success as a recording artist doing albums for Capitol, she replaced ANITA O'DAY as band vocalist for STAN KENTON in the mid '40s (CHRISTY met and married BOB COOPER of KENTON's band).

I'm listening to June's Got Rhythm
