Happy birthday, Mr Lee!

Question: when is the Queen going to get off H R B [Her Royal Bum] and make you a sir?

No, come to think of it, she should make you a Lord ~ that would be better.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I read his book Tall Dark & Gruesome on a flight once, and I hadn't read the first page all the way through when I started laughing. Mr Lee told the story of a PR person on The Man With The Golden Gun who found him writing and asked him what he was writing.

PR: "What are you writing?"
CL: "An autobiography."
PR: "Great! Who's it about?"

I hope he lives another 87.  Barring that, make it at least 20 years, ok?

I can see Chris Lee living well into his 90's, but damn is he old! A living legend no doubt.

Yes. (IMHO) the last of the great villains still alive and acting. When he dies or retires, the film world will be a lesser place. Happy birthday Chris.

From what I've gathered he's still in good health.

I've seen him relatively recently on TV.  He was walking around without assistance or apparent pain (though it looks like he has some pretty serious arthritis) and was completely cognizant.  I don't think you can ask for too much more in your late 80s.

Truly one of the greatest character actors to grace the screen.

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!
