I NEED SUPER HELP PLEASE!!

Im going to say about 10 years or so ago i was watching macabre theatre . The newer series with Ivonna Cadaver. Well Anyways the movie they were showing involved two scientist opening up another dimension. They were like working out of one of the scientist's basement i think. They had this long looking device that stood up and people were dying but they didnt know y. Towards of the end of the movie it shows like a lot of cool looking creatures flying around. I really want to watch this again. Thanks for the help.
