...and I've been detailed to locate all the soccer footage we have in the archives.  :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:

Wish me luck, won't you?  :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:

Then I've got to have it all transferred from 35mm to digital tape and DVD :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:

Good luck, I assume you've already thought of all these I brought up on a quick IMDB search:

After the Rain (1999/I) 6.3/10 (74 votes)
Blow (2005) 6.1/10 (12 votes)
Catch a Fire (2006) 6.8/10 (5200 votes)...aka Au nom de la liberté (2007) (France)
Dangerous Ground (1997) 4.3/10 (897 votes)
Finding Lenny (2009) 7.1/10 (7 votes)
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Wooo! Go Trevor!!

The World Cup has come round really quick, can't believe it's been 3 years already! Goddamn I hope England get knocked out early though, the media coverage and bias over here becomes intolerable.

Is it past World Cup footage Trevor? Why does it all have to be transferred onto DVD?

I hope we win.

There's nothing more depressing than seeing a fat man weep.
If we lose, we'll get it non stop on the news.

We'll lose in penalties, though. We always do.

Wow, it just seems like it was yesterday since the last World Cup tournament was held.  Hopefully the US team does good this year and makes it to the finals.  I remember when the US team lost to Germany in 2002 since I watched it on TV live, and I was upset when they lost.

It's actually soccer footage (mostly local stuff) dating back to 1919, believe it or not and it is still on its' original 35mm format.

So: 35mm >>>>> digital tape >>>>> DVD: the DVDs we make will be for clients to see what we have without having to schlep through hundreds of 35mm film reels.

The "final rehearsal" didn't go to good in the Confed Cup. US lost to Italy 1:3 on Monday. Sadly, no retake on the World Cup game of 2006.

When 2010 does roll around, I hope that we can put on as fine a show as Germany did in 2006.

The FNB stadium doesn't even look like it's going to finished in time though!  :buggedout:

Then there's the small matter of the Green Point Stadium in Cape Town ~ I was there in March and it isn't finished yet.  :buggedout:

But we can hope that it will be.

Always hard to tell, but recently the Americans beat the Spanish, who are regarded as having one of the best soccer teams in the world, 2-0.
