Monorail Crash in Walt Disney World: Employee Killed

I dropped everything when I heard the horrible news.  This is completely shocking to me.  In 38 years, there has never been fatal crash involving the monorail.  Here's more information:

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Thats a bit shocking.  I prefer the monorail over most transportation there.  RIP to the lost.  I think there is a web site out there that documents all the deaths at Disney but I'm a bit too tired to look for it.

Well, OSHA after taking a preliminary look has allowed the monorail system at Walt Disney World to be re-opened. Though, the final report is not due for another six months. The accident is having one short-term effect, and we hope not permanent. Before the accident, you could ask to be allowed to ride up front in the cab with the driver, I've done it, and the view from the cab is magnificent. But, since the accident passengers are no longer allowed to ride up front in the cab. As I said, we'll see how long this lasts, or whether the change is permanent.
