My viewing for the weekend is Starship and the classic "WestWorld".

So far I've seen about 20 minutes of "Starship" as a warm up and it looks like some weird cross between a Japanese moster movie (minus the monster) and an episode of "Doctor Who", but without the style and class of either.

Prepared to be bored to tears, because that movie goes nowhere slowly.

Watched it last night with my kids (Since it was PG).   Man, I owe them big time.  It was pretty bad, and if I hadn't been trying hard to make silly comments to keep them interested, I would've fallen asleep (and so would they).

Although it was still hard to "Mistie" it for the  kids, there just wasn't enough going on to give much material.  The kids were easy because of the level of their sense of humour, but I couldn't use a lot of jokes either because they wouldn't understand them, (like the hero, Lorca, being blonder, cleaner, and more attractive than anthing else in the movie...had potential...)

So, in the end, the kids and I had fun, but only because of what we brought to the movie. The movie itself was a boring, confusing, mess
