Admit nerdy things you've done here, I'll start.

I named an eel in my fish tank Sarlacc after the Star Wars character.

I have more but I figured others should chime in first.

Yes, as I am a fellow addict friend. Do you get the shakes when you go without?

My field dog is named Padme.

And I have the Star Wars Numa Numa at the top of my favorite YouTube clips.

I've had discussions with people about who was better, Kirk or Picard.

I have always been a nerd and am proud to still be one ~ I always have my nose in a book, always reading and learning something.

All my VHS tapes are in title order, the same with my DVDs.
All my books are in alphabetical order according to author.

And.......

All my underpants are in order, from A (Acceptable) to P (Poo).  :buggedout:

I bought the comic adaptation of the Elvira movie.  :bluesad:

Oh, man, even I'm embarrassed by that..

Me and a friend counted how many times Egon is holding something in Ghostbusters.

I've had discussions over which supergirl was best:
The original,

the matrix one - She just looks like Supergirl. No point in gettin' a picture.

the matrix/Linda Danvers hybrid,

Linda Danvers alone,

the one from a parallel universe,

the current one.

Well, going off Trevor's post, I have an extensive comic book collection. Mostly because I regularly spend $20-$30 a month on comics I want to read.

Not so bad, but I keep all of them. I currently have 12 long boxes full of comics, which represent ten years of comics reading. Still not so bad, but all of those comics are kept in immaculate alphabetical order, which I can tell you takes a long time to keep up. Well, still not so bad, you might say. At this point I should point out that many series feature one-off issues or multiple volumes, which makes keeping the chronological/alphabetical order hard to keep straight. In those cases, I actually look at publishing info and the indicia of each issue to make sure they are cataloged correctly. If I can't figure it out from that, I will look it up online to figure out how to catalog it correctly.

Basically, every six months or so I spend an entire day's worth of free time getting my collection together.

I should say I do work in a library, but that has nothing to do with it. I've been doing this since high school.

In my entertainment center, there's a model of the Jupiter 2 from Lost in Space, an Imperial Shuttle from Star Wars, and a small resin model of a ship that appeared in two episodes of Star Trek Voyager.  I also have  a bunch more models that I put in a box for storage;  I once sent some pictures of my Enterprise C in to the Starship Modeler website for inclusion in their Reader Gallery.

All my DVD's are of course alphabetized, except the ones that are piled up all over the place because I need to buy another storage unit for them.  When I record my own DVD's, I put them in cases and print up nice labels for them on the computer.

And, somewhat nerdy:  The very first thing I do every morning when I get up is to walk outside and get a leaf of catnip for my cat.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

I waited in line for a midnight sale of Star Wars Episode 1 toys.

Last night, I went to play Scrabble at a local used book store (we play every Thursday night), and one of the other players called me a nerd for wanting to play the word "ent," the walking trees in The Lord of the Rings. She was mostly joking, as she knew the word I wanted to play before I asked about it (and her next play was the word "nerd"), but still, I was called a nerd at a Scrabble game.

I have a closet full of various Star Trek memorabilia.  I have a special penchant for action figures, but my collection contains Hallmark ornaments, TV guides, and tons of other magazines, and over a 100 Star Trek novels I've read.

I also build models.  On my desk I have a Klingon Bird of Prey I built, a lighted replica of the movie NCC-1701 Enterprise that I ordered Japan, and a model of the B-9 robot from Lost in Space.   I have a big stack of models in various stages of completion and some still in the shrink wrap.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I'm almost 90% sure that I bought from a comic book shop.  It was a decent price tag too, for a figure at least.

I gave one of my daughter's a Klingon middle name and have a tattoo of the Klingon Empire emblem. Also I own a batlh'letlh. When my youngest daughter was a baby I made her a mobile over her crib with Star Wars ships and played the theme music to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine to get her to go to sleep. Later I got her hooked on Star Wars so I could justify buying the toys.
