BATTLE OF ALGIERS (1967) Its a French film with subtitles about  Algerians fight against French colonialism. This is a good film that takes place during the 50's in Algieria and how the people of that region dealt with the French. Its especially significant considering our current "war on terror". Even back in the 50's muslims were assasinating, planting bombs in cafes, discos , and airports. This film is really good at grabbing your attention and has won 11 international awards.

I got to see a vhs of this. It is impressive. The Assanations are told in a simple, realistic way. Its chilling to see how easy such things are to do, by those who have nothing to loose.

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

Flangepart, your Emperor Zurg quote cracks me up every time.

Yes, BATTLE OF ALGIERS  is the most realistic  terrorist film that I have seen. The film was banned in France for a while.
