i bought it. i watched it........(sigh). it wasnt bad, or good. i guess considering the time that came out it was probably creepy. i guess i just expected this to be more of a horror movie. i remembered seeing the little naked indian as kid, freaky. the movie started out pretty good and had a little momentum. when the little guy finally crawled out of the ladys hump, i knew all hell was going to break loose. it didnt, it just turned into a crap fest. though funny at times. espescially all the corny special effects at the end.
exterminate all rational thought.....

Great cheesy movie. Tony Curtis getting down on Disco is classic. The Star Wars ending? Sheer corny genius

i just watched this again the other night, i dig it.

Duly noted.

This has been a long-time guilty pleasure of mine.  Oddly enough, the book it is based on is barely better, but it does explain a few things in the movie that they showed you but didn't explain, namely, why is the guy who pops out of her back so deformed. He was mutated by all the x-rays they did of her hump as it was growing.

I raed the book in high school...I still own a copy!!! I saw the movie on late night tv in the late 70's too. I like the 'rock concert ' light show at the end! Groovy.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Very entertaining... I don't think it's an absolute bad movie classic, but it's one of the better ones.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I read the book and was looking forward to the movie. I saw it at the drive-in where I worked as the cashier.  Don't remember too much other than the lump on the ladies back and the head coming up out of the coffee table.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I remember them explaining it in the story because had I not read the book... It even made me wonder how many "deformed babies" were around from the 1920's - 1930's because everybody was toying with x-rays at that time... :)

I do find it funny how the story works with Poltergeist 2

Well my favorite memory of seeing this movie is"Wow!I am just a little kid and am seeing boobies in a PG rated movie!" :buggedout:

I thought the same thing when I saw Jennifer:The Snake Goddess and Psychic Killer(i think those were both rated PG..?)
